Minimizing the impact of our operations on the environment is of primary importance to us. It is the Group’s objective to operate with, and to maintain good relations with all regulatory bodies working to maintain the environment.

It is our declared policy to carry out all measures reasonably practicable to meet, exceed or develop all necessary or desirable requirements and to continually improve environmental performance through the implementation of the following:

• Assessing the environmental consequences of our operations on the local environment to minimize its impact.
• Ensure that the environmental goals and standards are understood and followed at all levels throughout the group.
• Operating in a safe manner to avoid spills, leaks or accidental discharges of polluting materials or oil leakages into water bodies.
• Maintaining pollution contingency plans and the capability to respond in an emergency. Reduce and/or limit the production of pollutants to water, land and air
• Training of employees in environmental issues. We are committed to training employees to carry out their work with due respect and care for the environment
• Control noise emissions from operations
• Minimize the risk to the general public and employees from operations and activities undertaken by the companies within the group.
• Encouraging the use of the best available technology to reduce the impact of our operations to the environment, particularly with regard to the efficient use of energy and materials, the minimization of waste and the prevention of pollution.
